Having just retired in 2016 from being a reading specialist for the last 40 years, I realized I wasn't ready to stop promoting literacy. My experiences taught me that reading aloud is one of the most significant activities that you can do with your child. Over the years, I have collaborated with my stepfather, Steven Kellogg, to bring children and books together. I am excited and grateful to have the opportunity to do that once again. Five years of making blankets for my three grandsons, Jack, Liam, and Logan, rekindled my love of sewing.   I decided to combine my two passions, literacy and sewing.  I look forward to creating a beautiful blanket for you and hope that you have many happy years with it as you snuggle up and read with your loved ones.  
             It is never too early to start reading to your child!
